We are based within
St Lukes Church Hall, which has 2 halls for the sole use of the Pre-School whilst we are using the premises.  Cloakroom and wash facilities are provided for all.

We have free flow play into a large garden (paved and grass) for the children to play in throughout the year providing an enabling environment with teaching and learning opportunities.  It is surrounded by a secure fence.

Our Aims

  • To provide a safe and secure environment to deliver consistent high quality care and education for children between 2 years to school age, working in partnership with parents.
  • To provide a secure foundation and enabling environment for learning and development to give children the best possible start in life and give support that enables them to fulfil their potential.
  • To assist all children in their overall development, supporting their individual and emerging needs, ensuring that every child is included and supported.

Our Vision

The Little Acorns Preschool is committed to supporting every child’s individual needs, to develop their strengths and skills; to build on their knowledge and prepare them for their next school environment in a safe and happy environment.

We celebrate each child’s individuality and uniqueness, encouraging them to be creative, be imaginative and to be explorers through an enabling environment that is friendly, fun and welcoming to all, whilst offering a wide range of educational opportunities. When trusted and loved every child will invite us into their world of love, fun, wonder and imaginative, creative play.

Our aim is to provide the children, their families and our staff with a sense of belonging, to develop self-esteem, confidence and a love of learning through fun, respect, teamwork and equality.
