As of January 2025, our fees are £6 per hour. There is a 50p snacks and charitable donation charge per child per session (this is voluntary for a funded child - conditions apply). Breakfast Club is optional and staggered from 8.15, this can either be used with your funded hours or costs are as follows (or can included in your funded hours):
08.15: £6.00
08.30: £4.50
08.45: £3.00
09.00: £1.50
If your child attends Lunch club there is an additional cost of £1.50 per day per child for extra time (this can be used with funded hours). A packed lunch must be supplied.
If more than one child from the same family attends, a reduced rate may be charged for the second child. Currently, children are eligible for Government funding the term after they are 3. Children are funded for 38 weeks a year. We accept the extended hours funding, working tax free childcare and 2 year funding (including working parents funding).
Fees are payable every half term by the date stated on the bill. If you have any problems meeting the payment dates, please speak to the Preschool Manager, in confidence, prior to the deadline.
Funding
2 year economic/non-economic 15 hour funding is available for those children who qualify, this can be used the term after they turn 2.
2 year working parent 30 hour funding can be claimed if both parents work and quality. Please apply via www.beststartinlife.gov.uk
3-4 year universal 15 hour funding is claimed via the preschool for the term after they turn 3. Funded hours are 9.15-12.15 (everyday) or 9.15-3.15 (Mon and Fri).
30 hour funding (3-4 years). This is for working parents if you both work and quality. Please apply via www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
